It’s very exciting to see people coming back to train in the martial arts! In June and July we have seen some great growth and participation, and we have brought back Capoeira! (If you used to train in Capoeira, we are now back to our three day a week schedule for that style.)

We will be hosting our fourth annual “kick-a-thon” on Saturday, March 21st, from 1:00pm – 2:30pm as a fundraiser to help continue the Doug Beale III Scholarship Program.

Every year parents ask, “Do you have any summer martial arts camps for kids?” This year, the answer is “YES!”

Question: How can you help with disaster relief, look great, and score a gi that’ll outlast the rest? Answer: Brunami gear! Visit the pro-shop at Plus One to order your Brunami Gi today! A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to disaster relief which is still much needed after the 2007 tsunami that hit Thailand.

The tournament team, lead by 2003 Champion Ken Corrigan, is moving forward. Last year we produced three KRANE champions, and many from Team Plus One brought home trophies!

Several students are preparing for their black belt examination this summer. Marshal, Fresia, Marissa, Mike, Matt, and Lindsay are pressing forward toward this goal.

We offer a FREE trial program. However, if you KNOW you would like to begin your training with us you can enroll for your first month right now! Click the button to register, and call Sensei Reisler at 860-922-5343 to schedule your first lesson.
