Coach Rachel teaches with the Krav Maga classes here in West Hartford. She is a graduate of the Legion Krav Maga program, which is a program that originated in New York and started at Plus One Defense Systems in 2018 in an effort to teach self defense classes to the community. The program is specifically designed to help teach members in the Jewish community how to “fight” antisemitism, if confronted with the need to defend themselves. (We’ve actually had one graduate from this program get attacked in a mall parking lot, and he did successfully defend himself!)
