This art focuses on ground work and submissions. Practitioners learn how to utilize Brazilian Jiujitsu principles from different positions on the ground with their partner. Students learn takedowns, basic and advanced positions, transitions between those positions, and submission techniques. While the above video shows practitioners wearing the uniform (gi), training is also completed without the uniform (no-gi).
