- Sankyu in Aikido/Jujutsu
- White Belt with three stripes (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu)

- 1st place in Denis Malloy’s Tournament (2008)
I studied martial arts for 3 years prior to coming to Plus One. I found Plus One when leaving Home Depot, and enrolled immediately. I have met many great people at the dojo. I have always thought of Kung Fu/martial arts as a hobby, and even when working I do. I have often been remembered by parents for walking to a test in the rain. The people at Plus One aren’t only my friends but they are also my family.
Mr. Joseph is currently a student at Roanoke College. However, he comes back to train and to teach whenever he is on break. We are thankful for the time that Mr. Joseph is able to spend with us!
